The image quality depends directly on the type of the display panel used.
The most widely used panels are those with 6, 8, and 10 bits for each of the RGB components of the pixel. They provide, and bit color, respectively. With quick cyclic switching between different color tones, an illusion for a new intermediate color tone is created. For example, by using FRC, a 6-bit display panel is able to show There are different FRC algorithms.
The maximum number of colors, which the display is able to reproduce, depends on the type of the panel in use and color enhancing technologies like FRC. The ratio between the horizontal and the vertical side of the display.
Some of the standard and widely used aspect ratios are, and Information about the number of pixels on the horizontal and vertical side of the screen. A higher resolution allows the display of a more detailed and of higher quality image. The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels.

No cherry-picked units sent by brands. Like all OLED TVs, it delivers outstanding dark room performance, thanks to the perfect inky blacks and perfect black uniformity.
It has an outstanding response time, delivering clear motion with no blur trail, but this does cause stutter when watching movies. Unfortunately, like all OLED TVs, there's a possibility of experiencing permanent burn-in, and the brightness of the screen changes depending on the content ABLwhich may bother some people.

The OLED panel produces excellent picture quality for most uses, with perfect blacks and wide viewing angles. It has a nearly instantaneous response time, which is important for gaming or use as a PC monitor. Unfortunately, there's a risk of burn-in, and the brightness of the screen changes with different content, which may be distracting.
With OLED's ability to turn individual pixels off, you get perfect blacks when watching in the dark. This emissive technology also allows the TV to display bright objects in dark scenes with no blooming at all.
Its near-instantaneous response time results in fast scenes that look clear and almost blur-free; however, it may also cause lower frame rate content to appear stuttery. It has good peak brightness and an impressive anti-reflective coating, so you shouldn't have any issues, even in a bright room. It also has wide viewing angles, which is great if you like to walk around with the TV on. Its extremely fast response time delivers an image with almost no motion blur, and there's very little dirty screen effect that can be distracting.
Its wide viewing angles are perfect for watching a game with a big group of friends, and lower resolution content like cable sports are upscaled well, without any visible artifacts. It has a remarkably low input lag and near-instantaneous response time, so fast-paced games look crisp, with almost no motion blur. It supports variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing, and it has been certified to work with recent NVIDIA graphics cards.
When gaming on a compatible console like the Xbox One, its 'Auto Low Latency Mode' saves you the trouble of having to switch picture mode.
Unfortunately, the TV's automatic brightness limiter ABL causes the brightness to fluctuate with different content, which may bother some people. It has excellent gaming performance, thanks to the nearly instantaneous response time and low input lag. It has an excellent wide color gamut and good peak brightness in HDR. The brightness changes with different content, though, and this might bother some people, especially with bright games. There's also a possibility of burn-in, which might be an issue due to the static elements found in most games.
The LG OLED C9 is an excellent TV to use as a monitor, as it has an excellent low input lag and outstanding response time, making your desktop experience feel responsive. However, care should be taken to avoid static user interface elements being displayed for a long time, as there's a risk of permanent burn-in. The TV can also display chroma properly and it has wide viewing angles, so the image remains accurate even if you sit up close.
All OLEDs deliver very similar overall picture quality, so the main differences between this TV and its competitors are the additional features and the design. Overall, it's very similar to the LG C8with only minor differences. The stand supports the TV well, and there's very little wobble. The stand itself is slightly different; it isn't as tall as the C8's, so the panel is closer to the table, and the front portion of the stand doesn't stick out as much. The TV is well-built, so there shouldn't be any issues using it, but it's thin, so care should be taken when moving it.
The stand is very wide and will require a fairly large table. It supports the TV well, though there's still a bit of wobble when nudged. Footprint of the 55" TV stand: There are back facing inputs as well as side-facing ones.Deals Amazon deals Bargain threads Classified adverts.

This organization creates, for instance, standards for devices used to mount flat screen televisions.
VESA provides three standard measurements for all flat screen mounting screw requirements: length, diameter and pitch. For VESA, FDMI constitutes something of a catchall phrase that describes the basic requirements for all types of mounting devices for flat screen televisions and computers.
The VESA standard dictates the placement of the hole pattern on the back of displays and the screws used to fit into those holes. For VESA wall mounts, the hole pattern should be centered on the display's back.
Having the center-positioned pattern minimizes torquing a twisting force that tends to cause rotation forces applied to the mount. This allows the VESA wall mounts to hold a heavier load. Types of mounting devices covered by VESA FDMI standards include desktop flat screen mounting arms, overhead mounts, poles, pivots, arms, mobile mounts and wall mounts.
VESA provides two sets of standard sizes for wall mount screws, those for screens weighing as much as pounds and those weighing more than pounds. When you're trying to figure out how to determine the screw size for VESA wall mounts, you have to take into account the length of the screw.
The length of the screw will vary depending on the metal's thickness on the wall mounts.
VESA certified wall mounts come packaged with all the screw sizes, lengths, spacers and washers that should be used when mounting what you need. Pitch in this instance refers to the number of ridges on a screw per unit of measure — in this case, millimeters.
These screws must have a threaded length of at least one and a half times the diameter of the screw — the threaded length excludes the length of the screw head and any anchor the screw may have.
As with standards for televisions that weigh pounds or less, VESA requires a minimum thread length of one and a half times the diameter of the screw for mounting screens that weigh more than pounds. The organization recommends a standard length of 16 millimeters. For instance, a Sony television that weighs 66 pounds comes with millimeter-long mounting screws that conform to VESA standards. These screws exceed the minimum length for televisions that weigh pounds by 6 millimeters.
If you already own a wall mount but need the screws for it, you can use VESA standards when purchasing your screws or contact the wall mount manufacturer for information on recommended screws. You can refer to the specifications in the product manual but perhaps the fastest and easiest way to find out the VESA size of your TV is just by measuring it.
Locate the four holes in the back of your television, you just need to measure these from left to right and top to bottom.
By now you should know the horizontal and vertical distance, between the holes and therefore the VESA size of your TV. Horizontal distance is millimetres and vertical distance is millimetres. The required VESA size in this situation is x Our TV wall mounts work with all types of TVs of any brand.
To sum up, VESA is a standard adopted by all important television manufacturers. It is the distance between the mounting holes in the back of the TV in millimeters. Whether a TV wall mount is fixed, tilt able, turn able or swiveling, the VESA mounting size is always the same: horizontal x vertical distance in mm. Also need information on the type of wall mount spacers needed and where I can purchase? Any info would be appreciated. Dodgexander Moderator. Should just be a matter of buying a wall mount for the TV and everything will be included. You just bolt the M6 sized screws on to the mount. Mounts come in different sizes but can be measured from hole to hole. Mostly you can also find the size in the manual. Hi, Many thanks for the reply. I already have a Universal wall mount that will fit the new television.
Have since found out its M6 screws that are required but I need to get the correct wall mount spacers. Currently can't find any information on where to find these and what the correct size is. If anyone knows that info it would be appreciated. I'm not sure the is a correct size unless they come with the mount itself. With mine I cut my own plastic ones which were about 5mm thick.
I measured it by screwing the bolts all the way in as far as they went, seeing how much of a gap was left of the bolt.
As long as the bolts are all the way in it should be fine using even a small washer I think.
